Responsibilities
  • Schedule meetings and manage appointment by calling contacts, following-up through email, setting up Gotomeeting calls and managing calendar in Google Calendar
  • Enter contact details of people to be derived from business cards, and correspondences
  • Make travel arrangements such as finding the best flights, hotels, restaurants, and events, and other logistical details.
  • Write and prepare internal and external documents including formatting, layout, etc.
  • Organize expense and create expense reports

Position: Project Manager

Bdar Center is a start-up social enterprise providing training and recruitment services in the Middle East Region. Our mission is to decrease the local workforce gap in the Middle East by providing vocational training and job placement for locals who are actively looking for work. We are looking for a highly efficient and experienced virtual Project Manager who will manage training and coaching deliveries and help build our pool of trainers and coaches. This position reports to the CEO and Chief Learning Officer and works closely with the delivery team and researchers.

Responsibilities
  • Account and Stakeholder Management:
    • Ensures company is meeting the agreed upon deliverables to client resulting in good or high satisfaction by clients
    • Forms strong strategic relationships with clients
    • Identifies opportunities from clients which may lead to more projects and stronger relationship with the client
  • Project Management:
    • Good understanding of the project, objectives, stakeholders, and deliverables
    • Learn the functions of the Learning Management System
    • Using the Insightly project management and CRM tools, build and manage project plans ensuring projects are properly resourced and deadlines are met
    • Create and manage both development and delivery bookings to ensure accuracy in their impact on commercial reporting
    • Work closely with the client counterpart to ensure smooth training delivery and coach engagements
    • With the support of a researcher, maintain the content database ensuring that the most updated contents are uploaded
    • Create and maintain a delivery team database ensuring trainer and coach credentials and agreements are ready
    • Actively seek out feedback from client, students and trainers/coaches ensuring that issues are investigated and all stakeholders are communicated with
    • Develop and improve systems for project oversight and knowledge management
    • Aim to reach high satisfaction for all the activities throughout the lifecycle
    • Create project delivery reports as well as post-project summaries

This position reports to the Chief Learning Officer and works closely with the delivery team and project manager.

Responsibilities
  • Researching assigned topics and consolidating information and data ensuring proper grammar, formatting and citations
  • As part of the content development team, help in designing instructional materials for use by trainees (workbooks) and trainers (leader guides and slide deck) and developing games that reinforce learning and idea retention
  • Preparing visually appealing and high learning impact slide decks including creating logical diagrams representing the intended ideas, and selecting appropriate images
  • Support research activities that help market our services such as Whitepaper writing, survey implementation, and article development
  • Maintaining the online library
  • Familiarizing oneself with the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Ensuring that the most updated contents are uploaded in the LMS
  • Make the necessary revisions in materials following the proper document change protocol
  • Communicate changes in materials to the project manager and delivery team

Position: Events Coordinator

The Aster Club, a US-based start-up is looking for an experienced events coordinator.  We are a private club with global members. We aim to build a community of business families who learn and collaborate with one another to grow their wealth and legacy. The Events Coordinator shall be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating events. We organize two major events per year (New York and London) with plans to add more dates and locations. The position is virtual but will need to travel to events.

Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage and execute the logistical details of events, to include but not limited to:
  • Preparing event outlines, logistical details, event billing, monitoring events assigned.
  • Prepare events marketing materials including but not limited to invitation, online reminders, flyers and print collaterals.
  • Manage the participant monitoring list to properly gauge the participation rate for the event.
  • Actively follow-up confirmation from invited guests via phone, email and texts.
  • Get quotations from venues and event suppliers.
  • Make timely reservations for events.
  • Prepare event materials including but not limited to attendee profiles, speaker profiles, speaker materials, Club information, etc.
  • Print and assemble event handouts.
  • Prepare gifts and giveaways, if available.
  • Be the primary or secondary contact for participants and must be present during the execution of the event.
  • Document event and prepare post-event summaries for distribution.
  • Supply press releases and articles of the event to promote the Club.
  • Upload event materials and photos to the private portal.
  • Prepare expense report for event and properly organize receipts for submission to AP.
  • 10% travel to events and be the point person for all on-site coordinations.
